Van Morrison Party with the Soul Commitments comes to Metropolis Performing Arts Centre this January.

The concert is a tribute to the film, The Commitments and the music of Van Morrison. It’s an eclectic high-energy performance dedicated to the well-known music of Van Morrison and Alan Parker’s film “The Commitments”, a highly-celebrated film depicting the The Commitments’ musical journey through their love of  Soul music,  from Motown to Memphis and Muscle Shoals.

Enjoy live performances from a 10-piece ensemble, featuring The Commitments vocalist Rick Demski and multi-instrumentalist/vocalist Derrick Procell, singing Van ‘The Man’. Audiences will reminisce about these incredible moments in Rock history as they relive their favorite songs of legendary rocker Van Morrison, and the celebrated hits from The Commitments LIVE.
